Class Policy - Programming

Policy
  1. The instructor will be notified via e-mail when the program is complete and executing properly.

  2. Unless the web specifies differently, all completed programs that are part of the assignment are to be placed into a single zip file. [ Does not apply for CIS158 ]

  3. The zip file is to be named using the naming convention described in the assignment policy and sent as an attachement to the e-mail.[ Does not apply for CIS158 ]

  4. The zip file will include all source code and data files. It will not include project, compiled, object, byte, or binary / executable files.[ Does not apply for CIS158 ]

  5. All programs must begin with a series of comments to document the program. These comments must include in order the following:
    • Name of the program (source code).
    • Name of the author.
    • The date the program (source code) was written
    • The program assignment number
    • The date the assignment was due.
    • A description of the what the script is designed to do

  6. Each section of the program as well as any significate information is to be commented.
